Artist, Jeanine Turner unearths the unique characteristics of her subjects which range from industrial structures to human images. One of the most striking aspects of Turner's work, whether it's raw industrial sites, candid shots, or abstract digital imagery, is her unique perspective. Her unusual camera angles, attention to light, and slightly askew composition make her work eye grabbing.
Turner's work is a reflection of her life experiences and varied interests. She was originally inspired by her husband's – Baltimore developer Patrick Turner – industrial projects, including Silo Point and Westport. Where others saw filth and fear, Turner saw beauty. Her talent for finding beauty allowed her to expand from solely industrial subjects into more figurative works.
