After attending and dropping out of the Fine Art Program at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, the artist Paul Saniford renamed himself, "Fool Period"… (You'll have to ask him why). He began traveling and experiencing the adventure of American life and it's many lifestyles. Upon his last stop here in Baltimore, Fool created a series of ruff and raw paintings that display the joy of creating art. Its as if Fool is able to go back in time to his many stops and burst out a blasts of color, composition and contrast that captivated a moment full of fun and joy. These paintings are more than meets the eye… you really have to take time to see that there is something more to look at.
Please join us to celebrate the historically rich and visually provocative genre of the nude and beautiful electric rawness.
