His work adorns the walls of the likes of Bill Cosby, Dick Gregory, Anita Baker, Susan Taylor, and Bernard Bronner just to name a few.

If you appreciate the boldness the deep contrast of rich colors, and the spirit that’s captured in African American cultural expression through visual art… this is your rare opportunity to meet and see the works of a truly prolific and talented artist (Larry “Poncho” Brown). Poncho’s contemporary paintings are a reflection of his personal values and pay homage to ongoing themes of family, community and spirituality.

Long withstanding the opinions, and criticisms of some art purists that are critical of the “commercial” or reproduction print of artwork, Poncho has continued to spread the word and inspire a mass following of art collectors with his reproduction art. He and others such as Charles Bibbs, William Tolliver, Frank Frazier to name a few have all experienced rewarding art careers.

Celebs and major collectors have collected Poncho’s works for many years. In February '99 his art was featured in the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History Textile Series No. 2 book entitled "Wrapped In Pride". His most popular artwork titled "Black is Black" and works from "Egyptian Queens" series has been featured on the former hit TV show "A Different World." "Sidesteppin" was featured on the HBO mini series "Laurel Avenue", and "One Love" has been featured on "In The House".
